Clinician - Full Time Therapist

Homestead, PA

The Clinician plays a key role in designing and directing the implementation of individualized behavioral and therapeutic treatment plans for program participants. This process involves collaboration with clinical teams, direct support staff, management, and the individual's family or support network. The Clinician provides direct clinical care through individual counseling sessions, community engagement, and residential interactions while maintaining strong communication with external support networks. Key Responsibilities Direct Clinical Care

  • Conducts comprehensive screenings and assessments using validated tools to evaluate depression, trauma, substance use, and risk factors related to criminal behavior.
  • Provides individual counseling and therapeutic interventions in community and residential settings.
  • Develops and implements personalized treatment plans with measurable goals to promote client progress.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Completes all required assessments and documentation in compliance with RHD policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains accurate and timely records to support ongoing services and treatment effectiveness.

Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration

  • Serves as the lead clinician in a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, trauma-informed, and values-driven care.
  • Oversees the development and recertification of treatment plans, individualized service plans (ISPs), and goal-setting initiatives for each client.
  • Coordinates input from therapists, case managers, advocates, program specialists, behavior specialists, direct support staff, and medical professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Assists program management with crisis intervention strategies using a trauma-informed approach.

Training & Professional Development

  • Participates in ongoing quality improvement initiatives and training programs to enhance compliance and clinical excellence.
  • Engages in professional development to stay informed on best practices in behavioral health, addiction treatment, and trauma-informed care.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in a relevant clinical field.
  • Clinical Mental Health License (LPC, LCSW, LISW) preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or a related field.

Working Conditions

  • Office-based environment with occasional travel as needed for client care and program support.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, lift, and reach while performing job duties.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds consistently.

CORE is a 16-bed, high-intensity residential drug and alcohol treatment program (ASAM 3.5) that serves male clients with dual diagnoses. Our program primarily supports individuals transitioning back to the community after incarceration, though we also accept referrals from hospitals, assessment centers, and other county resources. We focus on providing trauma-informed care and individualized treatment to promote long-term recovery and reintegration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $28.50 per hour
